Island Paradise Balloon Art has entertained thousands throughout the Lowcountry since 2004, amazing adults as well as children, creating incredible balloon designs as they watch. It's lighthearted, family entertainment that's perfect for parties, corporate functions, summer camps, events, and restaurants. Our twisters are known for making the designs that no one else in town makes! From small creations to life-size sculptures, we do it all. We also offer Pirate Parties, Storytelling, and Walking Tours. Our entertainers make over 1,200 appearances a year! With a staff of nearly 20, we can handle any size event and multiple events at the same time. Appearances include Mt. Pleasant Children's Festival, Holiday Festival of Lights, Family Circle Cup Tennis Tournament, and Charleston Harbor Festival, just to name a few! Our twisters also entertain at numerous restaurants every week! Please note that our Gig Masters calendar reflects past events only since November of 2011, NOT all of our past events since 2004. We also offer pirate parties with Eric Lavender, a professional storyteller, licensed Charleston tour guide, and top balloon artist. Eric dresses in authentic, period apparel & is accompanied by Capt. Bob, the blue & gold macaw, or Doozer, the Diva, the yellow-naped Amazon. Pirate parties also include a treasure hunt using a map that we create just for your location! Eric has entertained thousands across the southeast with his fascinating tales of Charleston piracy. From school appearances & private parties to museums and corporate dinners, Eric's performances keep audiences of all ages on the edges of their seats! We also offer a Charleston ghost story presentation. Eric has appeared on Lifetime, A&E, Travel Channel, and ETV. Private Pirate and Ghost Tours are also popular. We've had groups celebrating birthdays, weddings, and anniversaries, as well as corporate and school groups. Island Paradise Balloon Art is fully licensed and carries business liability insurance.
