Bagpiping Performance, Pageantry, and Personality. I am Jack Heins, better known as “Piper Jack.” I started playing the pipes at 15 and have had the joy of playing solo and in bands throughout Central New York ever since. In 2003, I was a co-founder of the City of Syracuse Highland Pipes and Drums where I am honored to lead the band as its Pipe Major. As such, if your occasion requires number of musicians, I can create an appropriate ensemble. Forming the band has allowed me the opportunity to combine all my passions: family unity, love of music, and the desire to keep Celtic traditions alive through pipe music, singing and dancing. Let's talk about how my talent, skills, passion and experiences can enhance your upcoming event.
