Pipe Major Terence McGovern, has been playing the Highland Bagpipes for over 25 years. He has traveled extensively throughout the United States, Canada & Europe, competing and performing. Pipe Major McGovern was the first American Civilian to be invited to live and work with the Royal Irish Regiment (British Army) and perform for members of the Royal Family, including HRH the Duke of Kent and HRH the Duke of York. Currently living in Connecticut, Terence is the Pipe Major of the Allied Forces Foundation Pipes and Drums, a band that promotes the Allied Forces Foundation which raises funds and awareness for wounded veterans.
