John McLean Allan was amazing. He was a perfect gentlemen and very helpful on making the reception a one to remember. The Bagpipes sounded amazing. One of the guests told my father this was the best wedding they ever went to and the Bagpiper made it exceptional. He offered his input on songs and also played songs we requested. He pulled off Thunderstruck by AC/DC. If you are looking for a piper he is the one you should choose.

John fulfilled all my expectations and did exactly as asked. He showed up on time, started playing at exactly the time requested, played beautifully, and was very accommodating. I’d hire him again without question or concern.

John was terrific! He is an accomplished bagpipe player but also effectively engages with his audience. We hosted a retirement celebration and John manned the Scotch Bar during cocktails before surprising our 100 guests with a bagpipe performance that led guests into the dining room where he sat for dinner and engaged with guests. He played intermittently through the evening and closed it out with a rendition of Amazing Grace. We received so, so many compliments on his presence and perfomance---very apparent that John was such a great touch to the evening. I have no doubt that he can enhance any party.

John was the excellent. He was sure to accommodate our needs and was prompt and very professional. His performance was perfect in playing Amazing Grace...his traditional attire, the perfect sound of bagpipes made our service a special memory. I would highly recommend John to those wishing to have a Scottish piper perform the magical sound of bagpipes.
