Brad Beaton enjoys playing large and small pipes at events where Celtic heritage is celebrated such as weddings, memorial services, golf tournaments, and graveside gatherings. He particularly enjoys tuning to orchestra pitch and playing duets with organ and brass instruments and entertaining at birthday parties and in parades. He has been the pipe major of a winning pipe band at the Stone Mountain Highland Games and other highland games. He has started 2 pipe bands and has taught many students who have become excellent pipers. He has played bagpipes since the age of 14 and has successfully competed as a soloist and played in several fine high level pipe bands and has been trained by some of the best pipers and teachers in the world including Seumas MacNeill and Duncan Johnstone. Brad also enjoys entertaining groups at assisted living centers with small pipes, and by singing songs and teaching about Scottish history and attire. Brad loves to provide music, entertainment, education, and enlightenment!
