The Boarding Party is San Francisco's newest and most exciting PIRATE ROCK BAND! We play seafaring and drinking songs, both original and traditional. Uptempo, catchy, danceable tunes that the audience loves to sing along to. Imagine folk melodies with a hard-driving arrangement: electric guitars, bass and drums. And we dress like pirates—well, who doesn't? We're the perfect band for that pirate-themed event you've always wanted to host... We all sing, and pretty soon the audience is joining in too. It's happy, high-energy, colorful music. Also, we should mention that we don't take ourselves too seriously, even though we sing and play our hearts out. We're not Irish (though we do play 'Wild Rover') but we've been compared to the band Flogging Molly. If The Kinks did sea shanteys they'd sound like us. For a kick-your-heels-up, rollicking, full-throated singalong party, there's no band better than The Boarding Party!
