Sharif was fantastic! First off his communication was great - there were a few sound bytes I wanted to hear in advance of the wedding so he recorded himself singing them and sent to me. Second he was flexible - we were still working out the timing of the ceremony etc. and he was completely fine just reserving the day for us and figuring out details later. He came early to set up and do a sound check and his playing was beautiful! I got a ton of compliments from my guests about what a great job he did and how much they enjoyed him. As someone who works in the event planning industry myself and hears lots of different performers I would hire Sharif again!

I was hesitant to book a musician for our wedding strictly based off of Gigmasters reviews, but Sharif has a 5.0 review history for a reason. From a standpoint of logistics, he was easy to book, easy to get in touch with for coordination, flexible with timeline, and accomodating with the handful of songs we asked him to learn. Musically, he is obviously very talented and did a great job working his set list to keep people entertained and get people dancing later in the night. Take a look at his song list- if you like it, I cannot recommend him enough for your wedding reception, especially if you are sick of DJs and the Electric Slide

Yes, yes, and yes! Sharif played acoustic guitar and sang at our wedding ceremony and cocktail hour. Hands down one of the best decisions we made! We asked Sharif to play five songs during our ceremony - one of which was a dedication to our parents. He learned to play and sing each of these five songs. He did awesome! One of my favorite moments of the ceremony was waiting to walk down the aisle, leaning up against the barn, and listening to Sharif sing "Kind and Generous" by Natalie Merchant (our song for our parents). Sharif was very responsive, invited us to one of his local gigs, and completely blew us away at the wedding! Highly Recommended!

I would highly recommend Sharif to anyone looking for a musician for their event! He was very professional, personable and patient! He was prompt in his response to any correspondence sent his way. He was receptive to song requests, had great song arrangements and even learned new ones for my daughters wedding. Not only learned new ones, but had to learn a few specific arrangements in a short time. He played beautifully and had a voice to match!

We hired Sharif to play ceremony/cocktail hour music at my daughter's wedding at Pippin Hill. To say that he is wonderful to work with doesn't begin to explain how incredibly accommodating, responsive and talented he is. My daughter and her husband had a song that was very special to them they wanted played during the seating of the wedding party and they had the instrumental version played during her walk down the aisle. Sharif learned that song for the wedding, and then at the last minute, learned another song that my daughter wanted played after the vows.
He is incredibly talented and an absolute joy to work with. We feel so lucky he was available.

So, my fiance (now wife) and I planned our wedding very last minute. we found Sharif a little more than a week before our wedding date. Fortunately he did not have anything booked that day and was able to play for our reception. At the very last minute we asked if he could also play for our ceremony, which was outside. No problem, he said. He was excellent! All the right songs in all the right places. Sharif played throughout our ceremony, wine hour, dinner, dancing...We ran long and he played on. Just an all around excellent experience for us. Sharif is an amazing guitarist and vocalist with an extensive song list. I would absolutely recommend him to anyone!

Sharif was extremely professional, accommodating and most of all, beyond talented. He played for our wedding ceremony and cocktail hour in extreme heat without complaint or hesitation--and did so amazingly! He accommodated all our song requests and even learned a bridal entrance song for me. I received so many compliments on his performance and would recommend him to anyone for any event.

Sharif was wonderful! He arrived ahead of schedule and play the entire time. Everybody at our party enjoyed him very much, he is very talented and played a combination of well-known tunes as well as some of his own music. Sharif was AMAZING. He learned several songs for our wedding, and performed them beautifully. He did a version of Fatboy Slim's "Praise You" that blew EVERYONE away. We'd recommend him in a heartbeat. Our original talent for the wedding fell through just before the wedding, and Sharif jumped in gracefully and enthusiastically. It was so wonderful to not have to worry about our music. He's a talented musician, a true professional, and a sweet person to work with. Hire him and know this: your guests will be talking about him long after your event! Thank you, Sharif!

Sharif played for our wedding reception at a small location in pismo. He was very accomodating and worked with all our requests. His setup made it seem like there was more than one performer. Great music, got the folks dancing, and very popular with the ladies! Would highly reccomend him to anyone.

Sharif was professional, accommodating, and friendly. He made an effort to honor my special requests, arrived early, and responded quickly to any communication I had with him. He has a beautiful voice, great acoustic guitar skills, and was perfect for our wedding in a park overlooking the ocean. If you have the opportunity to hire Sharif for your event - DO IT ! I cannot say enough good things about Sharif ! His talent is unbelievable! I asked Sharif to play several songs by my favorite artists, he not only played them, he added a little Sharif and made them even more amazing ! There was not one of my guests that did not ask "where did you find this guy, he's incredible !", he was Exactly what I hoped for !! Sharif was extremely professional from the hire date through the end of my party. He has an extensive play list and I would definitely check out his original stuff on iTunes ! You and your guests will enjoy every note !

Sharif was wonderful. We had several song requests and changes that came up at the last minute, but he was still very accommodating and such a pleasure to work with. His skill and talent with music really shows through his performance and he ended up being the biggest hit at our wedding reception. After the whole event, our guests and even the staff at the country club could not stop raving about him. We only wished that he lived closer to Vegas so we can ask him to play at more events.

Sharrif played for our wedding ceremony last month. He was fantastic. We had some unusual song requests that he learned for us an did wonderfully...better than the originals! Sharif did a fabulous job for my mom's 60th birthday. He is extremely talented and put on a great show appealing to all ages. He was on time, very professional, accomodating and above everything else, he is a very nice person. It says a lot when at least 4 or 5 people said to me they want to have a party just to have him play. I can't express how pleased we were with Sharif and his performance and the ease of working with him and gigmasters.
