Rim Kasputis has done keyboard work around the Detroit metro area for over 25 years. Rim has played many of the fine Country Clubs in the area and has enjoyed performing for countless weddings, corporate parties, private parties and even a luncheon for President George Bush (senior) at the Detroit Economic Club. In 2010 - 2011 Rim was the featured piano player at the Club Bistro 555 in the Greektown Casino. Rim Kasputis' multi-instrumental skills are a result of his lifelong pursuit of improving and diversifying his music. In addition to the piano Rim plays the accordion in many of the top Country Clubs in the Detroit metro area. Rim's trumpet work can be heard around town as he solos with several area big bands and the Sovereign Blues Combo. Rim graduated from Oakland University in Rochester, MI. with a Bachelor of Science in Music Education and enjoys teaching instrumental and vocal music at both the elementary and secondary levels. Rim can be seen in the Universal Pictures film; Five Year Engagement - playing in the engagement party scene near the end of the movie. Weather Rim is playing high above the metro area at the top of the Renaissance center or at a garden reception at a private residence you can expect a first rate performance every time.Rim has also played with some of the finest bands in the area and can perform solo or up to a 6 piece band for larger occassions. The latest addition to Rim's musical activities is strolling accordion and violin playing French, Italian and Gypsy Jazz classics make sure to listen to listen to all of the sound samples provided.
