A full-time professional piper, Bill plays Irish, Scottish, and Welsh tunes on the great highland bagpipes. He gives you the truly personal service and "stage presence" of your friendly village piper. He is a member of the Irish Fox Clan. His ancestors came from County Antrim. And he often spends his vacations in the Western Isles of Scotland. Hire a piper who is not just a musician, but a warm part of the celebration! Nearly thirty years' experience in the planning and conducting of Funerals means Bill knows how to help you blend his pipe music with your observance in the most expressive way. His career experience as a retired Episcopal Priest means he knows how to relate to and work with clergy and funeral directors. He learned the pipes under Pipe Major Robert McElvey, and marched for several years with the Pipes and Drums of the Delaware Valley. Bill respectfully plays without charge at the funerals of military, police, or fire personnel who die in the line of duty.
