Dave was more than accomodating; he took the time to answer our questions and concerns; we met with him twice and acompanied him to a band rehearsal. they met my expectation in the typke, kind and qualify of the music I wanted played. He also M.C. and included a DJ during the time the band took a brake of which was not very long at all. the Salsa was great, as well as the Merengue. The crowd was up and dancing. I have already recommended the band to several friends, many of whom attended asked for his business card.

Dave Santiago and the Latin Affair are truly amazing!! My husband and I were married on September 21, 2008 and we didn't have to worry about a thing. As a bride especially, you are juggling so many things that it can be a bit overwhelming but with Dave I knew that we were in great hands. My guests are still raving about how incredible the band was!! Even one of the workers at the Swan Club said that he had never seen a band like theirs, and he works there so you know that says a lot!

WOW !!! Our party was a very diverse crowd, and although there were many salsa lovers in attendance, there weren't many avid salsa dancers, well that was certainly not an obstacle to having people getting out on the floor and just doing their thing. Dave and his band had the crowds' ears glued to the sounds and their feet sliding around. I've had dozens of calls and messages raving about our party and it was in good part due to David Santiago & Latin Affair. Thanks guys, and "Que Viva la Comparsa Latina", "Boricua Posse" !!!!!!!

Dave Santiago & Latin Affair were truly amazing! They really know how to get a crowd on the dance floor. We enjoyed every moment of thier time and recommend them highly for any event. Dave Santiago & Latin Affair put on a performance our friends and family will never forget. Aside from being professionals, they also know how to engage the crowd in being a part of the music. They were just "incredible." You would have to experience it to know just how great their performance is! They were accomodating and courteous and we absolutely loved them!!!!! It is my pleasure to recommend Dave Santiago and the Latin affair!! Our wedding was on July 21st, 2007 in Jamestown R.I. Dave and his band showed up early and gave the best performance that I have ever seen. I can't count how many of our guests during and after the wedding told me how that was the best wedding band that they have ever heard.
Dave's band members were truly talented musicians who seemed to have a great time at the wedding. Dave was not only professional but made our special day even better with his singing. Don't worry if you are not latin (we are not), everyone danced.

I hired David Santiago and the Latin Affair for my wedding. I found them off Gigmasters and just took a chance (they had very good ratings). For weeks, people ranted and raved about my wedding and the band! They have great energy and you can tell they take pride in what they do. My husband and I had a blast! I was very happy I chose them. Dave is such a nice guy and such a pleasure to work with.

The Weston Women's League held our annual fundraiser with the theme, "Havana Nights." We were looking for a great latin sound, versatility in type of music from cocktail to dinner to dance music. Because of the format of the evening, we needed some flexibility to accomodate silent auction, live auction and an ever changing flow of the evening.
Dave Santiago was truly a pleasure to work with. He was flexible and reassuring through every step of the planning, confident that there would be no issues that were a problem. He worked without a stage and dealt with our space constraints. We reduced the number of band members to accomodate the budget. Every member of the band was professional. Most of all, Dave was kind and fun to work with and the music was fantastic.

We simply cannot find the words to praise Dave Santiago and Latin Affair enough. They were absolutely incredible, from start to finish. Dave was more than accommodating in every possible way in the months leading up to the party. He fielded every question and anticipated many to make the event exactly what we wanted it to be. In fact, due to Dave and his band, the party surpassed our wildest expectations. He is a consummate professional and his band is just amazing. He had everyone up on the dance floor but also provided soft background music while people ate. We wanted the evening never to end! We would recommend them immediately and enthusiastically. If you want a group of fantastic musicians with a positive, caring, and fun attitude, look no further!

Well done Dave! Great group, Dave is super cool and willing to accommodate requests and in general, just knows how to make sure that the party goes well. We were getting compliments all night about these guys. Not much more needs to be said: awesome.
