Reptile Wonders-The Nature Center on the Go Animal For A Party from Westminster, MD

We are a Montgomery and Howard County PTA approved performer for over 23 years that does reptile programs in schools, libraries, churches, outdoor education centers, and at private homes. For your birthday, school, library or community event's program we would bring between 10-13 different animals for a hands-on, interactive animal demonstration. We bring baby turtles, snapping turtles, large tortoises, bearded dragons and uromastyx (discussing camouflage, habitat differences, etc), monitor lizards (up to 6.5'), corn snakes, bull snake and a large boa constrictor or a Burmese Python. Note: Due to federal legislation we can not bring a Burmese Python across state lines. This law was enacted in March of 2012 to help prevent the python problem in Florida, spreading to other states. Our setup allows everyone to touch each reptile, except the aquatic turtles, since these animals are defensive and would try to bite. Each program lasts 45 minutes - 1 hour.
