Elliemae and friends is a mobile petting zoo and pony ride service. All the animals here on our farm and used in the petting zoo have been rescued. Each animal has a unique story all with happy endings. Our mission is to" rehabilitate and educate". We specialize in children s birthday parties but are a great addition to many small events. VBS, company picnics, school carnivals etc.... We have wonderful ponies for riding.. Our ponies are hand led (Sorry.. we do not use a carousel.) their is rarely a weight limit! Our large pony seems to be as big a hit with the parents as he is with the children. Because we are a rescue farm each year we seem to have new additions to the farm family. The typical animals that are part of the petting zoo consist of: Goats, Potbelly Pigs, Alpaca, Bunnies, Guinea Pigs, a giant tortoise, and our Ponies. Depending on the time of the year we may have bottle baby goats, pigs, kittens or puppies. Depending on the temperature we may bring "Sully" our 50 lb giant desert Tortoise, a hedgehog, chicks and possibly a ferret. These critters each have strict temperature requirements If it rains on the day of your party we always suggest having a back up plan.. however a dry garage, shop or barn are all wonderful places to bring the petting zoo. Some critters can even be brought indoors. Don't worry about clean up! We are completely self contained and leave no trace behind. Hand wipes, hand cleaner and antibacterial lotion are always provided. In addition to parties and private events our animals bring much joy and love visiting residents in assisted living communities, nursing homes and hospitals.
