The Bordellos Americana Band from Salem, MA

The Bordellos are an Americana, bluegrass band from the North SHore of Boston area. The band has been together for over twenty years and has played hundreds of functions, clubs, festivals and other music-related events through the years. Culled from various other local rock-and-roll acts, The Bordellos came together out of a mutual appreciation for outlaw country music and Americana. Beginning with Johnny Cash, Merle Haggard and Waylon Jennings and following it through to Clark, Van Zandt, Earle, John Hiatt, Whiskeytown, Son Volt and Wilco, and even Tom Petty they embrace real country and the smoky, beer-soaked back rooms it came out of. Bringing the music down to its basic form and infusing that "front porch feel", the Bordello's have become a Greater Boston Americana favorite. The Bordellos are: Adam Antczak of Beverly, lead vocals, guitar; Randy Hopkins of Swampscott, rhythm guitar; Kevin Levesque of Salem, bass guitar, vocals; Billy Grizzell of Swampscott, lead guitar, vocals; Jon Rosen of Salem, keyboards, accordion; and Cliff Goodman of Salem, drums and percussion.
