Jordan Lake Swimmers Americana Band from Raleigh, NC

Jordan Lake Swimmers are an Americana acoustic string band that play new songs in an Old Time or Americana way. We play wedding receptions, backyard parties, birthday parties, corporate events, breweries, wine bars and BBQs. Sometimes we are the key attraction and sometimes we are background music. The Jordan Lake Swimmers play new songs acoustically with traditional string instruments and strong vocal harmonies. We are a genre-blurring group of folk-influenced troubadours. A Jordan Lake Swimmers event is a harmony filled acoustic presentation of current songs from Bruce Springsteen, The Beatles, Coldplay, Steve Earle, and Tom Petty. We also perform Americana music from the Avett Brothers, Mumford & Sons and Tim O'Brien. We are ideal when you want to set a warm acoustic mood to an event with Guitar, Bass, Mandolin, Banjo, Fiddle and Dobro instrumentation and pleasing harmonies. Because we play familiar songs we get a wonderful reception from an audience that wants to hear and enjoy an event. We utilize a Bose Tower PA so we can fit a small foot print while sounding professional. This provides for great sound, quick set up while providing the perfect sound level for small or large groups. It is great for weddings for events where you desire a quick change and minimum interruption in the proceedings.
