Gunpowder Candy Americana Band from Orlando, FL

George Dimitrov and Rachel Decker are accomplished musicians with over sixty combined years working in music. A husband and wife team that have specialized in traditional country, they can easily handle modern tunes and most special requests. Rachel's vocals have been compared to Patsy Cline and Janis Martin, and with over forty years of working at his craft, George's guitar skills are highly regarded in the central Florida region. They play on weekends (and some weekdays) in the Orlando-based Americana band, Oak Hill Drifters, which has been voted in the top three Country bands over four years in a row by by the Orlando Weekly readership. George and Rachel have traveled extensively and have played all over the United States and taken their duo overseas to such countries as Ireland and Bulgaria, with more to come. They are professional and flexible, and can provide a sound system or work within the parameters set by clients in relation to sound, time frame and occasion.
