J2 plays classic and contemporary rock including Adele, Elton John, David Bowie, Jefferson Airplane, Bonnie Raitt, The Beatles, Led Zeppelin, The Moody Blues, Frank Zappa, Pink Floyd, The Rolling Stones, Crosby Stills Nash & Young, and much, much more. Because we play a mix of acoustic and ProTools tracks, our sound is much more rich and complex than you'd expect from a duo. J2 is Jim Morris, engineer and guitar extraordinaire and co-founder of legendary Morrisound Studios in Tampa. He has platinum albums on his walls from greats like Trans Siberian Orchestra and Iced Earth, and has played with everyone from Charlie Daniels to Glenn Fry of the Eagles. I'm Jim's musical partner, Jennifer Frazier, of JGLB, Traveling Wannabees and BOOM fame. We always deliver a concert quality show and have a large and loyal base. We're happy to say that every venue that's hired us has enthusiastically asked us back, like the Brass Tap and City Market Bistro in Dade City and Oxford Exchange in Downtown Tampa. We've played for numerous outdoor events such as the Dade City Cruise In, Kumquat Festival and Boys & Girls Club fundraiser. We're also a part of the Skippers Smokehouse Talent Agency, who vets all of their talent and only selects a privileged few to play the venues they work with. We're completely self-sufficient and bring all of our own equipment and lighting. All we need is a power source and an audience! We will happily provide references upon request.
