Quickly becoming one of Chicago's most sought after solo performers, Robert Cunningham's eclectic mix of vocal styles ranging from pop, 70's folk rock, broadway standards and opera make him one of the most versatile acts out there! Robert recently appeared on Broadway in the role of Paul in the 2007 Tony Award-winning production of Stephen Sondheim's Company. A seasoned professional, he is now back in Chicago and is extremely happy to be busy booking gigs as a solo guitarist and singer! Whether you need music for a wedding, a corporate event or an at home party, Rob will work work with you to provide the type of entertainment you are looking for. Here are some personal testimony's that give an idea of what people are saying about Rob: "What a find! We hired Rob for our daughter's wedding ceremony as well as for the cocktail hour. He arrived early which was huge for us. Then he sang the "Ave Maria" so beautifully and effortlessly it was as if Pavarotti himself had come back to life. I turned to my husband (father of the bride-to-be) and he whispered with tears in his eyes, "Wow!" Of course it was a special day for us but it was truly moving performance indeed. His wife Maggie, an accomplished pianist, provided the piano accompaniment for the service. Her playing was outstanding (Especially during the Canon in D ). Afterwards, during the cocktail hour, Rob accompanied himself on guitar singing jazz standards from the Big band era ala. Frank Sinatra. He created a wonderful vibe and atmosphere for people to socialize. All in all, I was extremely happy with the quality and professionalism of this performer. I consider myself lucky to have found him." -Jeanne Perry, Barrington Hills, Il. "This guy rocks! We hired Rob for our annual outdoor Summer BBQ and he filled the night with so many of our favorite songs from the 60's and 70's. We are huge James Taylor fans and we enjoyed his renditions of those old JT classics. Also he livened the party up with Elvis and some other 50's stuff. We'd definitely want to book him again next summer." -Aaron Ratkovitch, Hoffman Estates, il Rob's Song List Includes (but is not limited to): Shania Twain: Looks Like We Made it/ John Mayer: Who Says/ Ben Folds: The Luckiest/ Jason Mraz: I'm Yours/ Train: Marry Me/ Dave Matthews Band: Two Step/ O.A.R.: Heard the World Pearl Jam: Breathe/ Green Day: Time of Your Life (Good Riddance)/ Ryan Adams: When Stars Go Blue/ The Rolling Stones: Dead Flowers/ Bob Marley: Is This Love?, Redemption Song, Waiting in Vain, Don't worry About a thing (Everythings Going be Alright)/ Michael Jackson: Billy Jean/ Wilco: Jesus etc., You and I/ Norah Jones: Don't Know Why/ Eagles: Hotel California, Take it Easy, Lyin' Eyes/ Tom Petty: Yer So Bad, Wildflower/ Jimmy Buffet: Margaritaville/ David Grey: Babylon/ Steve Miller Band: Keepon Rockin Me Baby/ Foo Fighters: Times Like These/ Don Maclaine: American Pie/ Jack Johnson: Sitting, Wishing, Waiting/ Bill Withers: Lean on Me/ Bruce Springstein: Born to Run/ U2: One/ Elvis Costello: Alison/ Jonny Cash: Folsom Prison Blues/ Paul Simon: Me and Julio Down By the Schoolyard/ Hank Williams Sr. Hey Good Lookin', Lovesick Blues/ Neil Young: Needle and the Damage Done, Heart of Gold, Old Man, Down by the River/ CSNY: Teach your Children, Ohio, Southern Man, 4&20, Love the One Your With/ James Taylor: Fire and Rain, SteamRoller, You've got a Friend, Sweet Baby James, Frozen Man, Handy Man/ Cat Stevens: Wild World, Father and Son, Where do the Children Play?, Moonshadow/ Crowded House Don't Dream it's Over (Hey Now, Hey Now!), Fall at Your Feet, Four Seasons in One Day, Throw Your Arms around Me/ Beatles: Let it Be, Yesterday, All My Lovin', Twist and Shout!, You've Got to Hide Your Love Away, Norwegian Wood, Can't Buy Me Love, Blackbird, In My Life, Here Comes the Sun, Here There and Everywhere, Can't Buy Me Love, I've Just Seen a Face, If I Fell, Lucy in the Sky with Diamond/ Bob Dylan: It's all over Now Baby Blue, Like a Rolling Stone, Subterreanean Homesick Blues, Tangled up in Blue, Don't Think Twice, it's Alright, Forever Young, I Shall be Released, Knockin on heaven's Door, I'll be Your Baby Tonight, Positively Fourth Street, The Times They are a 'Changin'/ The Who: Behind Blue Eyes, Squeezebox, We Won't get Fooled Again, See Me feel me (Listening to You)/ Jim Croce: Bad leroy Brown/ Harry Chapin: Cat's in the Cradle/ Lenord Cohen: Halleluia (Jeff Buckley), Famous Blue raincoat/ Don Mclain: American Pie/ Eagles: Lyin' Eyes, Take it Easy, Hotel California/ Harry Belafonte: Jamaica Farewell, Angelina, Matilda, Banana Boat Song/ Roy Orbison Pretty Woman, Crying (Over You)/ Paul Simon (and Garfunkle): Call Me Al, Me and Julio Down by the Schoolyard, The Boxer, Feelin' Groovy, America/ Andrea Bocelli: *Con te Partiro (Time to Say Goodbye)/ David Bowie: Life on Mars/ Grateful Dead Uncle John's Band, Ripple, Truckin', Friend of the Devil/ John Denver: Country Roads, Leaving on a Jet Plane, You Fill up My Senses/ Elvis Presley: Jailhouse Rock, Blue Suede Shoes, Can't Help Falling in Love with You, Good Time Charlie's Got the Blues/ The Kinks: In the Summertime/ Neil Diamond: Sweet Caroline, Solitary Man/ Lois Armstrong: What a Wonderful World, When Your Smilin'/ Harold Arlen: Somewhere Over the Rainbow/ Rogers and Hammerstein: If I Loved You/ Gershwin: Someone to Watch Over me/ Hank Williams: Hey Good Lookin'/ Cole Porter: I get a Kick out of You/ Irving Berlin: God Bless America/ Cheek to Cheek (I'm in Heaven) Henry Mancini: Moon River/ Frank Sinatra: Fly Me to the Moon, My Way, Everybody Loves Somebody Sometime, Come Fly with Me/ Opera (Classical): O' Sole Mio, Torna Surriento/ Eric Clapton: Nobody Knows You When Your Down and out, Wonderful Tonight/ Arlo Gutherie City of New Orleans, Flyin' into Los Angeles/ The Four Seasons: Can't Take My Eyes Off of You/ John Prine Angel From Montgomery Fish and a Whistle, Let's Talk Dirty in Hawaiian/ Irish Songs: Danny Boy, The Bard of Armagh, I'll Take You Home Again Kathleen, When Irish Eyes Are Smiling, Black Velvet Band, Rare Old Mountian Dew, Sally Gardens, Dirty Old Town (the Pouges), Arthur McBride, An Irish Lulaby, The Boys from Killybegs, Molly Malone, Isn't it Grand Boys, The Rocky Road to Dublin/ Audioslave: Like a Stone/ Loggins and Messina: Danny's Song/ Radiohead: Karma Police/ Cold Play: In my Place/ Van Morrison: Brown Eyes Girl, Moon Dance, Into The Mystic/ The Band: The Weight (Take a Load off Annie)/ Indigo Girls: Closer to Fine/ Sam Cooke: You Send Me/ Spainish songs: Besame Mucho, La Bamba, Cielito Lindo/ Other Songs: Tennessee Waltz, Shine on Harvest Moon, Let Me Call You Sweetheart, King of the Road, America the Beautiful, Misty, Girl From Epanema, Anytime, Till There Was you, Young at Heart, Lost in the Stars
