We were so luck to find Mark. His music brought our mother's "folk music" themed 80th birthday party to life. He went above and beyond to accommodate our song requests, and added his own favorites to fit the party's mood. We highly recommend him!

Mark was a phenomenal performer. He was extremely easy to work with prior to booking, before the event, and during the event itself. He was always available by email, texting, or phone call if I had any questions prior to and after booking. He was kind enough to check in on our schedule, what he should wear, anything he should keep in mind, etc. Everyone enjoyed Mark's performance at our party. The music selection was great, and he even made the birthday guest's day extra special by allowing him to play and sing a song with him. We would highly recommend Mark for your next event, and we will definitely hire him again in the future.

I need more stars for Mark James! He has a beautiful combination of being both tremendously professional and incredibly personable. And then when he started to sing, we never wanted him to stop! People are still talking about our event and it is all due to Mark James and his amazing performance. In addition to being a great singer and player, he is also a super performer - he did a great job engaging and interacting with the audience as well. His drummer was super, too! I cannot wait to bring him back to NY! Can't rate him high enough. It was a true pleasure working with Mark James.

Mark was great. Very professional and very easy to deal with. The steel drum was an excellent addition! All of our guess enjoyed the music and it added a special touch to our Christmas Party. Mark has a natural gift for interacting with the audience. His humor and sponteneity at our Class Reunion made the event flow smoothly and professionally. His acoustic set during dinner was well received.

Mark covered a huge selection of music from classic folk rock, rock country, and the Jimmy Buffett sound. He is a walking jukebox! He took requests and did an excellent job on whatever we wanted to hear. Mark has an upbeat personality and plenty of talent to make your event a total success. Our overall experience was A1!!

Prior to the event, I did not know of Mark and discovered him during an internet search on gigmasters.com. Since the point of contact, Mark was a true professional who made every effort in making it truly be a "special event" for the entire age group that was present.
Mark played and sang a wide variety of music that was appreciated by all, including all of those special requests that we wanted to hear.
