Do NOT hire this musician!!! He did an absolutely awful job communicating until I said if I didn't hear from him I would hire someone else. Then he emailed to say "oh yes, I'm coming, it's on my calendar," which I verified on his website. Thereafter, he didn't respond to any of my texts or emails, and did NOT show up on the night of the booking. I had a large audience waiting to see him, and no Joe Wray. I could NOT be any more disappointed and embarrassed. This man is NOT a professional, and absolutely can NOT be trusted to show up at your event. If I could give negative stars, I would. AVOID!!!!!

I am very sorry that you had this experience. All communication you have had up to this point has been with my booking/correspondence team. There has clearly been a breakdown in communication on my end, and I will make sure to rectify the issue. The calendar you are referring to is the one on this site. The dates on this site remain valid until cancellation by the purchaser. Once events were canceled on my end, I should have ensured that this was communicated throughout the chain. I was informed that these matters had been handled. I perform at over 150 events/shows per year, and I take these issues very seriously. Thank you for leaving your review. -Joe

Despite a very large and loud, talkative crowd, Joe played throughout our cocktail time and relocated to continue to serenade us during dinner. I was seated near him while he was on stage and he sounded as excellent as usual. He was dressed appropriately for the event and was punctual (early) to set up and be ready. A true professional. We would hire him again.

We hired Joe to play during the cocktail portion of our event and he was nothing short of superb! He couldn’t have made it any easier to work with from start to finish. But it’s his incredibly talented performance that made the night. Joe has a fantastic, soulful voice and is an incredibly talented guitarist. Communication was easy, the price was reasonable and the performance was stunning. I would 100% recommend him for any event

Joe was amazing! He showed up early in the pouring rain for an event outside in a tent and set up without a complaint. He was extremely professional and played amazing music that totally suited our group. I would definitely book Joe again for a private party in the future and will recommend him to anyone who asks!

Joe was great. He was easy to work with and really made my sister's wedding a hit. Everyone was blown away by him, and those who weren't familiar with him previously were asking each other left and right "who IS this guy?" Would definitely recommend.

Joe played at our barbecue and was awesome! Many of our guests asked for his business card to hire him at their upcoming events. He has a wonderful voice and he's a great guitarist. The range of songs that he played appealed to the audience, of all ages. We would hire him again and again! Thanks Joe for making our party extra special!
