Excellence and versatility. I love to play to my client's musical preferences - whatever genres those happen to be (Classical, Motown, Folk, Acoustic, Latin, Jazz, Funk, Fusion, Rock, Soul, Word/Ethnic Music to name a few) . I've often been called a 'one man band' act. I have also been appreciated for not only the quality of my performance, but also the high caliber of equipment: speakers, gear...etc. With over 25 years of performing experience and over 35 years of music expertise, I can always appreciate continuously learning new repertoire and adding fresh songs to my daily setlist. Whether on a beach or in the middle of a forest, with my battery operated gear, playing for a surprise proposal engagement to being in front of thousands at McCormick Arena, Pritzker Stage or Millenium Park, there is no compromise in the level of my involvement with the musical craft. Several of my mentors and collaborators include Fareed Haque (Garage Mahal, Sting), Steve Rodby (Pat Metheny Group), Jason Vieaux, and Denis Azabagic. I attended guitar workshops with John Scofield, Pat Metheny, John Pattitucci, Antonio Sanchez. I've also toured with jazz big bands around Europe (2000 - Switzerland), and played on national TV stations (Europe).
