Hi there! Thanks for visiting my profile. I signed up on The Bash just before Covid and let my subscription expire so now I’m back on. I play at restaurants, bars and private parties in the area. I’ve been playing the guitar over 50 years and have played in several bands while raising kids and running my manufacturing business that I started on my own in 1981. About 10 years ago I started playing finger style guitar and really enjoy it. It’s very challenging and takes many years to develop. I play instrumental arrangements of songs from various artists over the past 80 years from Duke Ellington, Chet Atkins, Elvis Presley, The Beatles, Elton John, Paul Simon, Cat Stevens, Tommy Emmanuel, Passenger, Ed Sheeran, Christina Perri and many others. Since retiring over 5 years ago, I’ve been attending guitar seminars all over the globe and have studied and performed with many of the top players including Tommy Emmanuel and John Knowles, (both CGP) Richard Smith (finger style champion) Pat Bergeson (currently on tour with Peter Frampton) Jim Nichols (toured with Van Morrison) Jerry Douglas, (played with everyone) all Nashville session players and teachers, all worked with Chet Atkins, the guy who basically invented finger style guitar.
