You can hear them perform songs from a wide variety of genres, including The Eagles, Michelle Branch, Neil Young, Sarah McLachlan, Tom Petty, Martina McBride and many more. Carol Strickland Van Dress has been fronting bands in the Akron area for several decades, including Jynxed, Night Shift, and Storm. Dan Shy is an Akron native who grew up playing piano and guitar. He has played with Katz, Salty Waters, and Liquid Night. "the shy pair" offers a dynamic performing experience unmatched by any other duo - acoustic guitar, piano, percussion, female lead, male lead, and harmonies - a complete audio package!
