With over 20 years of experience in the music industry, Leo is a virtuoso Brazilian guitarist, renowned for his versatility and talent in live performances and recordings. Whether as a sideman, in duos with top-level singers, trios, or quartets, Leo offers a sophisticated and engaging musical experience. He is also an experienced music teacher and has a professional home studio for high-quality productions. Graduating in Music, Leo expanded his international career after earning a full scholarship for a master's degree in guitar performance at Utah State University (2022). Since then, he has been invited to teach and perform in various projects, including the prestigious USU Jazz Orchestra, Caine Jazz Combo, and musicals like "One Man, Two Guvnors" and "Spotlight." Leo had the honor of recording with drummer Danny Gottlieb (The Pat Metheny Group, Mahavishnu Orchestra, Gil Evans' Orchestra) for a project released on vinyl. In December 2023, he was invited by Charisma Eglise Chrétienne for a performance in Paris (France), where he wrote arrangements and produced a show for an audience of 5,000, including a live broadcast featuring a band and a choir of more than 40 musicians. Leo completed his master's degree in July 2024 and immediately returned to Europe to perform at five of the largest jazz festivals, including the renowned Umbria Jazz Festival.
