I offer small, affordable, and unique bands featuring a roster of amazing musicians! Specialties include vintage New Orleans style jazz, klezmer, and small acoustic ensembles. A little about me: I've performed professionally for 15 years. I've performed in over 10 countries (USA, Australia, China, throughout Eastern and Western Europe, and coast to coast in Canada). My playing can be heard on over 20 albums (a few of which have been nominated for JUNO awards and have been nominated or won Canadian Folk Music Awards). I love providing music for special events! Over many years I have played countless weddings, Bar/Bat Mizvahs, garden parties, birthdays, and community events. I consider it a joy to contribute memorable and exciting music to people's celebrations.

We rented John and the band to play old school jazz and klezmer music at our wedding in October 2024. We highly, highly recommend them! The whole experience was very smooth. Communication with John was breezy, and he was happy to accommodate our requests. On the day of the wedding, the band arrived on time and set up quickly. Our guests loved the music and we got many compliments on the band. Everything went according to plan and we could experience our wedding with no concerns about the music. Talent - check, professionalism - check, musical repertoire - check. This band has it all! We highly recommend hiring them for your event.
