David C. Symons - Accordionist Accordion Player from New Orleans, LA

I am a professional accordionist with over 20 years of experience leading ensembles and performing solo. I have given concerts all over the U.S. as well as Canada, Australia, Spain, France, Belgium, Germany, and Poland. Locally, I have performed at esteemed New Orleans venues such as The Maison, d.b.a, The Spotted Cat, Allways Lounge, Hi-Ho Lounge, Siberia, Yuki, Marigny Brasserie, the New Orleans Museum of Art, Voodoo and French Quarter festivals, Mid-City Bayou Boogaloo, and the New Orleans Accordion Festival. I specialize in klezmer (European Jewish instrumental music) and Eastern European musics, but can play many traditional styles, as well as my own compositions, and sing in English and Yiddish. If you would prefer a duo, trio, or quartet, I play with some of the New Orleans' finest violin, clarinet, and bass players.
