80z Top; 80's Dance Rock Hits of the MTV era Cover Band from Simi Valley, CA

80z Top is Los Angeles and Ventura County’s hottest 80's tribute/cover band focusing on timeless dance rock and new wave hits of the golden age of music video inspired by “MTV music television” and “Dance Party USA” which aired on the USA network starting in 1986. Imagine a hybrid live band and DJ playing 80’s hits! That is 80z Top. 80z Top focuses on keeping the dance floor packed by playing 80’s hits in the form of seamless medleys and non-stop dance songs for a minimum of 45 minutes to at least 2 hours, or more if needed! The band name and trio configuration are inspired by the mid-eighties releases of ZZ Top where a trio is playing over backing tracks, carefully recreated by the band members themselves. Bands covered include Duran Duran, Flock of Seagulls, The Cars, INXS, Billy Idol, The Go-Go’s and many more, including all the best one hit wonders all still currently played on local radio. Members are experienced, professional and flexible to any type of live situation and can even provide a PA system if needed.
