The Aspersions 60s Band from Rochester, MI

"The Aspersions" is a two-piece acoustic cover band, together for 14 years, doing high-energy rock and pop songs from the 50's into the 70's. Our repertoire is enormous... British Invasion, Woodstock era, Motown, our 60's repertoire is especially huge... the Billboard Top 100 hits of the AM/FM era. We pay close attention to our sound levels and strive to keep them comfortable. We are equipped for anything from backyard parties to larger venues like bars, halls, classic car cruises, "Music in the Park", festivals or other themed or special events, indoor or outdoor. Don't be fooled by seeing only an acoustic guitar and drum kit, we push our instruments to their limits, and have a full band sound. It's all performed 100% live, using no pre-recorded tracks. We do the songs you forgot you knew. You'll love it! We were the winners of the Madison Heights 2023 "Trail Tunes" band competition, the best of 13 bands participating. Over our fourteen years, we've entertained at countless bars, clubs and restaurants, hall parties, special events, and many summer house, block, and themed parties. One thing that makes us stand out from the others -- we only take a single short break in a 4-hour time slot. No chatter between songs, we deliver music... that equates to 60 - 70 of our best "feel good" songs in 4 hours. Check out our video to see what we offer musically. Venue requirements: We have a small footprint and can set up given a roughly ten by twelve-foot dry space. Power needs: one standard household 15-amp circuit. If the event is to occur outdoors, an inclement weather contingency pre-plan is essential, including rain or sun protection for the band. We require venue access no later than an hour prior to start time, in order to load in and set up, and an additional hour to vacate after ending. We'd ask that some accommodation be made for load/unload access as near as possible to our setup spot. We'll take care of the rest!
