Fidalgo Swing Jazz Band from Anacortes, WA

Fidalgo Swing is a band that's a musical portal, transporting you back to when swing music was the sound. The genre that is currently enjoying a revival. The idea behind Fidalgo Swing was to create a big band sound with only three to five members: Allen Lewis and Aaron Howell creating the call, response and solos of a horn section on guitars, Jake Baird holding down a strong beat on double base, Beth Baker styling the vocals and , as a quintet, Phil Nakano on soprano sax, tenner sax, flute and percussion. Fidalgo Swing is a local favorite that has been performing in Skagit County for seven years for weddings, private parties and steady gigs at the Rock Fish Grill in Anacortes, Seeds in La Conner, Skagit Brew House in Mount Vernon and many other dinner clubs and festivals.
