Local guitarist Christian Flores and his Gypsy Jazz Fire play in the style of Django Reinhardt or "jazz manouche". This style of music was created in the 1930s by the legendary two-fingered guitarist, Django Reinhard. It blends American big-band swing with the exotic sounds of European gypsy folk songs. Gypsy Jazz Trio approaches this style with a modern sensibility, technique, and a love for this music. His passionate improvisations and rhythms reward both listener and dancer alike.
