What a delight it was, after several grueling days of convention, to sit in our awards dinner and be surrounded by those swirling notes of jazz... Of all the entertainers I have hired over the years, Mark is surely one of the best, most talented, most professional musicians it has been my pleasure to employ. He and his group were fantastic, and so perfect for that gorgeous room (the Hall of Mirrors in Cincinnati's Hilton Netherland Plaza Hotel).
Thank you for one of the most serene, sumptuous evenings of my event planning career. I will be in contact with you again for my next event, to see if you are willing to travel!!

We hired the Trio for what I'd hoped would be a classy dinner party wedding reception (55 people), and they were perfect. Everyone commented on their talent and versatility, and remarked on how nice it was to be at a wedding where guests could talk comfortably with each other during and after dinner while enjoying great music. Mark sadly couldn't be there due to a family emergency, but his replacement on keyboard was fantastic, and was even ok with my musician brother-in-law jumping in on one number. The bassist and drummer were superb too, and everyone was so nice, easygoing and professional. Thanks, Trio, for helping to make my wedding so lovely and memorable!

Mark and the rest of his trio were the best thing at my wedding! Their music, their professionalism and their cooperation were absolutely top-notch. I would definitely recommend Mark to anyone looking for a great jazz trio, and I myself will use them again when the occasion presents itself.

Mark was prompt, courteous and dressed appropriately for the evening. We discussed formatting for his sets and breaks, which he followed. And because it was a buseinss-related party, Mark took care to play "under" the conversation and did not try to compete with it or challenge it, just because the guests were talking (which was the point of the party) rather than listening to him. During lulls, he showcased his abilities.
In short, Mark knew to, and knew how to, "work" the room and the situation. Then at the end of the event, he quietly took his leave.
I am very satisfied with how this turned out.

Mark Thibodeau-Trio amazed me and my wedding guests. From my initial phone call to the last dance, Mark was so wonderful to work with. The Mark Thibodeau Trio played at our wedding reception and they were absolutely outstanding. Many guests commented on how much they enjoyed the music, particularly because it was dancable while also just enjoyable to listen to. Mark and his band are very talented, did a wonderful rendition of "Foggy Day" for our first dance, and happily catered to my odd request for The Beach Boys (on CD) for the father/daughter dance. Mark was lovely to talk with leading up to the event, very helpful and professional then and at the event. He also did a fine job as our MC for the reception. We only regret we don't have a recording of the evening, we loved the music that much!

Mark and his trio were outstanding- everyone complimented our choice of music and the musicians, and my daughter-in-law hhas begun to rethink her own choice of music for her wedding next Spring.
In the meantime, my husband and I look forward to attending some of the group"s public appearances in the area.
