A small act with a big vintage sound that is perfect for any event!  Mama Train celebrates the spirit of the Jazz Age with rich female vocals and dynamic expressive piano. Performing as a duo, trio, or full four-piece band, this versatile group plays events ranging from weddings to Prohibition parties, corporate functions, fundraisers, wine-tastings, private dinners and even Sunday brunch. Inspired by early jazz and blues artists, they perform classics from the 1920s to 1950s. Their soulful melodies and lively instrumentation combine to create a sound that resonates with every audience!

We booked Mama Train for a surprise 60th birthday party. They reached out multiple times prior to the event to ensure logistics and to make sure all our needs were being met. The bad was great at the event and very focused on our needs. Their talent and professionalism were both impressive and they would be a great addition to any event.

We discovered Mama Train at a winery one day and thought they would be a perfect addition for our wedding and they were!! It was such a special touch to have them perform for our cocktail hour, everyone enjoyed the music choices, voice, piano and stand up bass! Sumitra and Philip are exceptionally nice and accommodating! We would recommend their services for anything from backyard gathering to wedding events to bars/restaurants! Because of their talent, hard work and dedication, they made our wedding day even more special than we could have ever imagined!! Thank you to whole team! We love you Mama Train!

I did my research and watched as many videos of Mama Train as I could, that said, the real test is seeing them in person… Which I hadn’t done before booking them. I was absolutely blown away by how good they were! My husband does music for film and television and is very familiar with the music industry. He was so impressed by this band! They were tight, creative, and oh so professional. The second my wedding was over. All I could do was think about how I could hire them again for something else! I went straight to their website and looked up where their local gigs would be so that I could see them again.HIRE THIS BAND!!!!!!!!!!
