These guys, and their special gal, helped make the most memorable night of our lives! They were accessible throughout the entire planning process and willing to satisfy any request we had.
Str8up gave us exactly what we wanted and more!! They were patient and helpful with my Father for his speech and even accommodated my nephews when they asked to do a special dance late in the evening...I simply can't say enough about them.
If you want professional entertainment that will keep your crowd on the dance floor all night--at all ages--this is the band for you!
We love them dearly and that's all we have to say about that.

Straight up was awesome! What a beautiful voice the lead singer has. She can sing it all! They had everyone up and dancing. Saxophone was smooth. Very professional and talented!! Highly recommend.

On a scale of 1 to 5 (1=lowest, 5=highest), how accommodating was Str8up in handling special requests for your event? I would give the band Str8up a 5 on handling the music I requested. I would rate them a 5 on professionalis. They arrived in a timely manner to have everything set-up and ready to perform. Mr Lewis was very approachable and maintained contact with me. He was very up front and answered all my questions to satisfaction.
The band as a whole did an superub job, and the lead singer has a magnificant voice ( along with the rest of the band). I would utilized them again in the future and recommemd them to friends or anyone planning an event.

I must say from my heart that WE LOVED Str8up. They are Truly the BEST BAND IN JACKSONVILLE FLORIDA and surrounding areas. I would highly recommend them to anyone who wants a professional experience. I had them for my 25th wedding anniversary and EVERYONE was so impressed with their performance. We did not want the night to end. They kept everyone dancing on the dance floor. We loved Lenora. She has a beautiful voice. She sounds just a great as the original songstress. If you want an outstanding time and you want everyone at your event to rave about the entertainment, I suggest you do the right thing and hire Str8up, straight up.

They showed up at the venue very early and started set up for us.
Their communication was on point throughout the weeding process.

They came and they performed... the promises as far as other generational music being played were never adhered to, but an attempt by one of the band members was made by trying to pull a song off YouTube via his cell phone. The band themselves did play ole school music ALL night so the older crowd was entertained but my husband and I are n our late 20s and had special requests for them... and not to play ole school all night was one of them and they did... So would I recommend they band??? Yes... to my grandparents

They did a great job. They showed up 2.5 hours early to set up and did a great job. They really knew how to work the crowd. The dance floor was packed all night. I am very pleased with their performance.

Str8up played at my wedding reception. I was very happy with this band. We danced so much and wished the band didn't have to quit playing. I have had great comments from my wedding guests as well. Everyone danced...young and old. They really made the reception a great party! Love Them!!!!

I come from a family that loves to dance and listen to music. My biggest challenge for my wedding was, I thought, finding a band that would make everyone have a good time. I should not have worried cause this band was AMAZING! They exceeded all of my expectations. They stayed in constant contact with me throughout the whole wedding planning process. I truly felt like when I saw them at the wedding we were already friends bacause they had been so kind to me. They kept people dancing the whole night. I have had so many people that were at my wedding ask me who my band was because they want to use them at thier next event. Thanks for making my wedding a success!

Str8up performed for our wedding. They did a great job and our guests loved them! They got all our family and people of all age ranges and backgrounds on the dance floor. Our crowd even started cheering for them to keep playing after their time was up! And they did! In addition our caterer asked to get their cards and was interested in hiring them. This is a great band and very affordable. Other bands with their talents are twice to three times their asking price. I strongly recommended them.

Str8up was the highlight of our wedding reception. They were friendly, professional, easy to work with, and in general greatly exceeded our expectations. They were particularly easy to work with on the song/set list and other venue-specific needs like volume, making reception announcements, and other details. They presented themselves professionally, smiled a lot, and made everyone feel like they were having as good a time as the audience. And the audience did have a great time, because Str8up blasted out four fantastic sets. They were an incredible value too. If you want a great band for a great time, go with Str8up!
