Jon is super helpful, accommodating and extremely talented! Our wedding ceremony was outdoors and it rained the whole time, but he still managed to play our music. The guests were super impressed by him! He was quick to respond and help with all the questions we had and provided sample music and recommendations. If we will need a musician again, I will contact him without a doubt.

We feel very fortunate that John was able to play at our wedding. The song list that John put together was wonderful and really fit the feeling that we were looking for. Everyone at the wedding really enjoyed the personal touch and relaxed feeling that John's music and style provided for the event.
My only regret is that we would have had more time to slow down, visit with John and really just relax and listen to his music. But, we hopefully catch him again at a future event.

John was a GREAT addition to our ceremony. We searched for months for the right sound to match our relaxed, outdoor wedding, and we couldn't have found anyone more perfect. John was incredibly professional. He always got back to us super fast, giving lots of detail when responding to our questions and concerns. He was happy to learn two new songs for us, and they sounded great. We would recommend him highly for any event.

John did an AMAZING job performing music for our wedding, as guests arrived, mostly during the ceremony (which was a huge addition), and during guests mingling/dinner while we took photos and for our couples dance and a special musical number my husband surprised me with. From initial contact through the end, John was nothing but gracious, kind and very professional! He learned new songs and arrangements that we requested and was such a highlight to our evening. I have already recommended him to a few brides to be I have met and would highly refer him to anyone for their special event, particularly wedding! Great job, great talent. I am so happy that we went with John for our wedding ceremony and cocktail hour. He totally understood the vibe we were going for, and really helped us complete our vision for those two pieces of our wedding. John was also very accommodating, and met with me ahead of time so that we could go over song ideas. Overall he made the process very easy and was just great to work with. I would highly recommend him to others.

Having John play during our ceremony and happy hour was a fantastic complement to our wedding. He was extremely professional and accommodating, and was also a skilled improviser when necessary. I can't say enough nice things about John. He is professional, timely, flexible, and extremely talented. 15 minutes before he was supposed to start playing for our ceremony, and after he was already completely set up, I asked John if he could still provide a mic for our officiant since the venue was louder than we expected. The request required John to completely disassemble his equipment and set up elsewhere, and he did it with plenty of time and even started playing early. His music really set the tone for our wedding, and we got a number of compliments on how beautiful his playing was. Thanks John for making our wedding special! Hire this man!!!

I hired John to play flamenco and Spanish-style music for my husband's birthday party in our home. Shortly after I entered a request for bids, John called me to go over the request, which I thought was extremely thoughtful and professional. We hired John to play our small outdoor wedding in late October in Oregon. I tell you this because, as you can imagine, the weather was something less than perfect. John arrived early in the day and was ready for the weather. He even helped put up sides on the tent and was willing to play wherever we wanted him. He has a lot of talent and is fun and friendly with the guests. We asked him to play something nice for the processional and he hit a home run on that. He knows how to work a wedding! He even moved his stage indoors when the party retreated, without being asked. He even stayed late and played us out at the end of the night. Hire John. You won't be sorry.
