Est. 2016 Asbury Park, NJ The Ocean Avenue Stompers are a NOLA influenced brass band with the sounds of Jersey Shore Rock ' N Roll, Philly Soul, and NYC's finest. Each member is hired specifically with their skill set in mind to best suit each event based on their outstanding talents, professionalism, and passion. We pride ourselves on being a one-stop solution for any type of entertainment you need to bring your event to the next level. We're committed to working smart and safely with you to customize an idea into reality. Surprises from birthdays and engagements to a full second line from your wedding ceremony to your reception. We promise that there is not much we can't do! We are AVAILABLE NOW and booking 2021 and beyond. We primarily book ourselves as a 6 piece NOLA inspired brass band which consists of trumpet, trombone, saxophone, sousaphone, snare drum and bass drum. On occasional exception, we will take a gig with a 4 piece mini brass band to suit your event. We love to plan weddings and have been a solution to many friends who have had their weddings affected due to Covid. We can be completely mobile and take up a very small footprint which allows us to not need much timie at all to be set up and ready to play. If you have heard of Bachelor Boys or the Silver Arrow Band, we offer a similar solution to a wedding band where we hire musicians in our network to come perform and fit within anyones budget and vision! 4 vocalists playing disco / soul hits to Springsteen, 3 - 6 piece horn sections, strings, bagpipes, keyboards, musicians from your favorite local bands or national touring acts. The span of our network of musicians covers the nation and we would love to organize the right talent for your event! We have recently brought entertainment to the city of Asbury Park during Covid times where we safely performed on Cookman Avenue for outside diners. Word of mouth had us performing on front yards every weekend during the summer.
